The 30th Congress of the German Society for Educational Science offers participants various formats for exchange, debate, and information. The submission of proposals for working groups, symposia, research forums, and thematic forums has already been completed. This call is for the submission of contributions for ad hoc groups.
Ad hoc groups are to take place on Wednesday (March 25, 2026, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), parallel to the research forums. In contrast to symposia, which must have a strong connection to the congress theme, ad hoc groups deal with issues related to disciplinary policy and/or science policy. The particular topicality and social or (education) policy relevance of the ad hoc group’s topic is a mandatory requirement for the successful acceptance of the contribution.
The content of the contribution is the responsibility of the submitter; both traditional and alternative formats are welcome. Please explain in your abstract why you have submitted the contribution as an ad hoc group and not as a symposium, working group, or research and topic forum. Contributions that have been rejected for other event formats (e.g., working groups or symposia) may not be resubmitted as ad hoc groups.
The local organizing committee is responsible for the selection process and the review of the submitted contributions.
